Clinical hypnotherapy is a safe, non-addictive and extremely effective form of treatment for many negative unwanted habits and behaviours, some psychological disorders, undesirable thoughts and feelings.
Hypnotherapy attempts to address the client’s subconscious mind as a means of effecting the desired changes. The Hypnotherapist guides the client in a number of exercises designed to induce a state of relaxation.
The client is encouraged to use their own imagination and a wide range of techniques including the possible use of symbolism and metaphors (relevant to the client, as discussed in the intital consultation) as well as the use of direct suggestions to bring about beneficial changes in the desired areas.
Hypnoanalysis may also be employed in an attempt to uncover root problems deemed to lie in a client’s past ( the “there and then”) or therapy may concentrate more on a client’s current life and presenting problems (the “here and now”). If the client is personally motivated and committed to change the whole process is likely to be more successful.
We all enter into the hypnotic states at least 20 times a day. Have you ever driven a familiar route, and suddenly thought I don't remember passing so, and so... or have you ever been daydreaming for what felt like just a few moments and realised half an hour has passed?
These are light hypnotic states. If you have ever experienced this or something similar then you would greatly benefit from hypnotherapy.
